Can going to Orlando, Florida mean more than just experiencing the Magical Kingdom of Disney World and the surrounding theme parks? Yes…maybe. According to the Orlando Visitors Bureau there are 208 things to do there. Wow really 208. Even though the list includes Disney sponsored attractions there are things in Orlando I had no idea were ever possible let alone in Orlando. So when you find good deals on flights to Orlando keep a couple of these in mind:
-Sit on the back of a real alligator at Gatorland.
I guess no one told the Bureau that it isn’t safe to put kids on the back of a wild animal.
-Drive a stock car at 125 mph (201 km/h) at Richard Petty Driving Experience.
Aren’t these usually driven by professionals?
-Be rescued by Arnold Schwarzenegger at Terminator 2: 3D.
Isn’t he the Governator of California now?
I guess the point of this is to let you know that there is actually something else to do in Orlando besides go to Disney World. I was kind of worried there for a minute.

The best things to do around Orlando are unadvertised and often free or for very little cost. Check out the free book sampler of “Orlando for Grown-ups” to see if you agree.
